The Scarlet Letter
Volume I, Number 4 | May 1994
Old-Fashioned Eulogy
by Fr. Catfish
Thy rotting flesh
reamed by worms
no longer flaunts
its dark tan.
Brand-new box
by side,
o'er head
protects thee from
the birds.
Could you rise
and smile, and
say
"Hello! My God
you look good!"
The foul stinking gasses
of thy breath
would definately be
a turn-off.
